The Autel EVO Lite Enterprise series is a leader in lightweight commercial drones. The cutting-edge camera quality and drone performance make drones fully used in public safety, emergency rescue and inspection tasks. With the help of the live video streaming function, tasks can be completed more efficiently. Here, we explain to you how to use the live video streaming of Autel EVO Lite Enterprise.
Can Autel EVO Lite Enterprise perform live video streaming?
Yes, the live video streaming function is very useful as an extended function of the EVO Lite Enterprise series. It can provide a stable and high-definition live streaming experience for the terminal for remote drone mission execution.
The EVO Lite Enterprise series includes EVO Lite 6K Enterprise and EVO Lite 640T Enterprise. Using the Autel Smart Controller SE V2 remote control equipped with the Autel Enterprise App and equipped with Autel SkyLink image transmission technology, the image transmission distance can reach 12KM.

It is worth mentioning that although the Autel Smart Controller SE V2 is a smart remote control, it does not have an HDMI interface and cannot directly output live broadcast signals. But it supports RTMP and GB28181 protocols, and can transmit clear live images online.

How to start EVO Lite Enterprise series drone live broadcast?
Before starting the drone mission live broadcast, please do preliminary work such as checking the integrity of the device, updating to the latest firmware, and ensuring the stability of the network environment, and then carry out the drone live broadcast mission.
Preliminary work:
Autel EVO Lite Enterprise drone (6K or 640T model)
Autel Smart Controller SE V2 or compatible remote control
Batteries with sufficient power and external power supply
Stable Wifi network environment, drone and live broadcast device in the same network
Choose a stable and large third-party live broadcast platform account and set the RTMP transmission address
Update the latest version of firmware and software
Set up and execute:
Step 1: Connect the device and start the drone
Unfold the drone, install the battery and propellers, and check whether the three-way binocular visual obstacle avoidance sensor is clean.
Turn on the Autel Smart Controller SE V2 and connect to Wi-Fi to ensure smooth network.
Start the Autel Enterprise App, connect the drone and complete the activation.
Check the image transmission status and ensure that the SkyLink signal is stable (supports 2.4GHz/5.8GHz/5.2GHz adaptive frequency hopping).
Step 2: Configure live broadcast settings
Open the Autel Enterprise App, enter the "Settings" menu, and find the "Live Broadcast" or "Video Stream" option.
Select the RTMP protocol and enter the RTMP server address and stream key obtained from the live broadcast platform. For example:
RTMP URL: rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2
Stream key: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
Adjust live broadcast parameters:
Resolution: 1080P/30FPS is recommended to balance image quality and network stability.
Bitrate: Set according to network conditions (recommended 2000-4000kbps).
Cache time: can be set to 50 milliseconds to reduce latency.
Autel Enterprise App split-screen display function, you can choose the output mode of visible light, infrared or map view (640T model supports infrared and visible light dual-channel simultaneous output).
Step 3: Test the live signal
Start the "Preview" mode in the App to check whether the live screen is smooth without obvious delay or freeze.
Check the real-time preview on the live platform to ensure that the audience's end picture is clear.
Step 4: Start live broadcast
Take off the drone and adjust it to a suitable flight altitude and angle for live broadcast. Use the AI target recognition function to lock the target (such as people, vehicles) to ensure stable picture.
Click "Start Live Broadcast" in the Autel Enterprise App, and the drone will push the video stream to the specified platform via the RTMP protocol.
Monitor the live broadcast status, pay attention to the battery level and signal strength, and switch batteries (the remote control supports hot swapping) or adjust the flight position to optimize the signal when necessary.
Step 5: End and save
After the live broadcast ends, click "Stop Live Broadcast" in the App to confirm that the platform has ended the streaming.
Land the drone, turn off the device, and check the video files in the memory card (supports AES encryption and requires password access).
You can export the live broadcast video to the local device through the App, or download it directly from the platform for playback.
Common Problems and Solutions
Live streaming is stuck or delayed:
Check the network signal and reduce the bitrate or resolution.
Make sure the SkyLink signal between the drone and the remote controller is stable to avoid electromagnetic interference.
Restart the App or reconnect the RTMP link.
Unable to connect to the live streaming platform:
Confirm that the RTMP URL and stream key are entered correctly without extra spaces.
Check whether the platform supports drone live streaming.
Update the App to the latest version and check whether the GB28181 protocol is enabled.
Signal interruption:
Make sure there is no strong electromagnetic interference in the flight environment.
Switch to the 5.8GHz band to reduce interference (subject to local regulations).
Battery life is insufficient:
Prepare multiple batteries and use EVO Lite multi-charger to quickly recharge.
Plan the flight path to reduce unnecessary hovering time.
Autel Smart Controller V3 paired with Autel Enterprise live broadcast
Autel EVO Lite Enterprse series can choose Autel Smart Controller V3 remote controller, which can also realize video live broadcast function when paired with Autel Enterprise App. It should be noted that if you directly purchase Autel Smart Controller V3, it cannot be directly paired with EVO Lite Enterprise drone, and you need to return it to the manufacturer for firmware update.
