EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR

Autel EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR Upgrade Notes

In October 2023, Autel launched its first payload drop system for the EVO Max series, ideal for areas difficult for personnel to access, enabling fast, low-cost, and low-risk targeted deployment.

Now, the EVO Max series welcomes a new payload drop system—the Autel EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR.

Let's take a look at the Autel EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR.

Autel EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR Upgrade Details:

Autel EVO Max 4T Drone Payload Drop System Release Device

1. Upgraded Fixing Method for More Secure Installation: Compared to the EVO Max Payload Drop System-H Model X, the EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR uses side screws for mounting, which is more effective than bundling and significantly improves stability.

2. More Optimized Structural Design: The EVO Max Payload Drop System-H Model X is larger, making it easy for the sensors below to be obstructed if the bundling becomes loose. The EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR features a redesigned lower structure with exposed sensors via openings, preserving the aircraft's obstacle avoidance capabilities.

3. Superior Load Capacity: The EVO Max Payload Drop System-H Model X has four hooks for mounting items, which can easily lead to overloading and impact performance. The EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR, however, has only two hooks, allowing for a larger single-hook load.

4. Exclusive Customization: Autel Robotics has customized the software for its Max series drones specifically for the newly released EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR. Subsequent Max 4T/4N models are fully compatible with the Payload Drop System-XDR.

EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR Release Function Description

The EVO Max Payload Drop System-XDR connects to the MDSK interface on the top of the drone via USB Type-C. It supports independent single-channel release for the left hook, independent single-channel release for the right hook, and dual-hook dual-channel release. Firmware upgrades are available via FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air).
