Dear Autel Robotics Customers:
Celebrate the great news for the Autel EVO MAX V2 series, which has received the coveted C5 Class Certification under the new European drone regulations. For drone operators, the Max V2's C5 certification involves a firmware update to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory standards from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
Importantly, the C5 Class Certification on the EVO Max V2 allows operation of the drone in a specific category (STS-01), provided you have successfully completed STS certification training (authorized by your national aviation authority). Furthermore, the EVO Max V2 drone must be operated within the pilot's visual line of sight (VLOS).
As with the EVO MAX 4T/4N drones, Autel Robotics has partnered with Applus, the Notified Body that certifies drones under EU Regulation 2019/945, to confirm the EVO Max V2 series drones' compliance with the C5 Class Certification. You can verify the certification information by visiting the Applus website or viewing it through images.
