In order to meet EU regulations, Autel Robotics is actively applying for drone C certification. The EVO MAX series will be completed first, followed by the EVO II V3 series, and finally the consumer drone series.
For drone operators, it is urgent for drones to obtain C certification as soon as possible and fly drones in legal compliance. The EVO II V3 series is an A2/A3 drone and requires C2 certification to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory standards of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The Class C2 label on the EVO II V3 series drones allows the drone to operate in the A2 subcategory (Close Flying) of the open category, provided you have successfully completed online training called an A2 Certificate of Competence (A2 CofC).
