Drone manufacturer Autel Robotics has released its Autel EVO II Dual 640T Enterprise Rugged Bundle, created for public sector and corporate use. Under the Autel Enterprise label, Autel Robotics provides end users with access to aircraft built in the United States as well as foreign and domestic parts and labor.
The Evo 2 can be considered as a direct competitor to the DJI Mavic 2 drone, even a notch higher in recognition efficiency and obstacle avoidance efficiency. The Evo 2 Dual with thermal camera definitely exceeds the thermal resolution of the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual, and at these prices they are the best option in terms of price/performance/thermal chamber characteristics. Additionally, all EVO 2 series drone are compatible with Pix4React for quick access to 2D location maps in the field, a useful feature for emergency use.
In fact, thanks to 4x visible zoom without quality loss, and up to 8x thermal imaging, 640 x 512 or 320 x 256 resolution, the Evo 2 Dual is ideal for search and rescue missions and emergencies. Also because drones like Evo 2 Dual, Anafi USA, Skydio X2 are equipped with non-radiating FLIR Boson. This means that they can also be used in industrial and building inspections to detect heat loss, but "by the naked eye" because they do not provide the absolute temperature of each pixel of the image and therefore cannot generate thermal analysis maps.
The Autel EVO Dual series is specifically designed to help public safety personnel identify people and objects in the dark through smoke/fog, and provides public safety personnel with the highest resolution IR camera available, as well as a second independently operating 8K resolution RGB camera When combined with Autel Live Deck, the 8K camera provides police and firefighters with deep detail, zoom capability, 40 minutes flight time and the ability to stream video to any command position or MDT (Mobile Data Terminal).
Is Autel EVO II Dual Made in USA?
Autel Robotics works with most US parts assembly plants, Autel EVO II Dual uses a Chinese body, a FLIR infrared/thermal imager from the US and a Sony imager from Japan, and the final product is assembled by American labor in Poser, Washington .
Autel EVO Dual Waypoint Missions
Autel planes can be flown without connecting a mobile device because the remote control
Provides a 3.3-inch display for FPV. When connected to a mobile device for preview and autonomous flight modes, the mobile device can enter flight/no data mode once a local map is downloaded for mission planning.
In the US, Autel is bundling its EVO II Enterprise drones in three combinations: EVO II Dual 640T Enterprise Bundle, EVO II Dual R Enterprise and EVO 2 II Pro Enterprise. In terms of included accessories, you get a 7.9-inch smart controller, strobe speaker, battery charging hub, charger, rugged case, just to name a few.
Autel EVO II Dual 640T Camera Performance
The new drone features a foldable design, carbon fiber arms, larger motors and propellers than the standard EVO II, and improved HD transmission of 5.59 miles (9 kilometers). It has an equally extended flight time of up to 40 minutes and a top speed of 35 mph.
When it comes to accessories, the EVO II Enterprise can be paired with speakers for improved on-site communication and a spotlight for strong light from a distance, making it a great accessory for nighttime shoots or search tasks. There is also a strobe for position indication, and an RTK module for accurate positioning data, which also reduces electromagnetic interference.
With its powerful 16x digital zoom, the drone is able to collect high-definition images from a distance. The EVO II Dual Pro Enterprise also supports 3x lossless zoom, while the EVO II Dual 640T Enterprise supports 4x lossless zoom.
EVO II Enterprise drones can be used in anything from public safety and traffic regulation to mapping, power inspection, firefighting and search and rescue.
